Questions Patient's Ask
Here are some actual quotes providers have heard or read when patients call or email for assistance:
“Some of my prescription drug costs seem mighty high. Can you see if I could get them somewhere else for less money?”
“I think I should go see a Dermatologist to check out a couple of spots that don’t look right. Could you look at them to determine if I need to go see someone? And if I do, could you help me find someone fairly soon that’s good but at a reasonable cost?”
“I was playing basketball and believe I might have sprained or broken my ankle because it’s really swollen and hurts like crazy. I thought about going to the ER or an urgent care facility, but I thought I’d call you first before spending all of that money.”
“I believe my hospital bill is inaccurate. Could you review it for me and let me know if I’m being charged too much or shouldn’t have been charged for something at all?”
I’ve been told that I need to have several imaging tests done, but I’m concerned about the cost. Do you know if there is any way to get these tests done for less money than where they want me to go?
“We’re concerned that our daughter has seemed a bit overwhelmed and depressed lately, and we’re not really sure what to do about it. Do you think we should we spend the money to take her to a therapist of some sort, and if so, could you recommend one?”

"One of my friends here at work said you helped her lose weight. Do you also help people stop smoking?"
“I was just recently diagnosed with diabetes. What should I do to manage my condition so that it doesn’t get any worse and do you have any suggestions on how to improve it?” (Please visit the "Education" tab for
